Our Partners
The best way to encourage health professionals to practice in medically underserved settings is to provide experiences in such settings during student training. To this end, AHEC partners with community health centers and other settings that provide care to the medically underserved, to create clinical placement opportunities.
The Western Michigan AHEC covers following Michigan counties: Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ionia, Kalamazoo, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Ottawa, St. Joseph, and Van Buren.
The Michigan Primary Care Association represents community health centers within Michigan. The following is a list of the community health centers with whom we partner.
